Family Worship Guide
Memory Verses: Galatians 2:20
Day 1: Read Luke 9:23-27 & discuss: What do the words “take up” remind us about discipleship? What are some evidences that you are “doing”, and not just “learning”? In which aspects of your following after Jesus do you most wish to grow?
Day 2: Read Luke 9:23-27 & discuss: In our day, what does the cross represent? In Christ’s day, what did the cross represent? Aside from physical suffering, what are some other types of suffering you have endured? What are some examples of suffering you experience because you are a Christian?
Day 3: Read Luke 9:23-27 & discuss: What were some of the motivations for those who followed Jesus? What is your motivation? In what ways are you tempted to follow others? How can you purposefully follow Christ before all men? How can you disciple your children to do the same?
