Day 1: Read Luke 8:40-48 and discuss: What was the basis for the woman’s healing? What are the two possible reasons for why Jesus asked who it was that had touched him? Read Eph. 1:16-20, 2:1-6 and discuss: What does Paul say is available to us, as Christians? What is this power? How does Paul define it?

Day 2: Read Luke 8:40-48 and discuss: What are some reasons the woman was trembling? Why did Jesus “call-out” the woman in front of everyone? Consider how the Lord has been working in your life, recently, and share this with your family and friends.

Day 3: Read Luke 8:40-48 and discuss: What common phrase does Jesus use to indicate the reason why people have been healed? What are the particularly unique elements in this account of this woman’s healing? What could have kept the woman from coming to Jesus?
