Day 1: Read Luke 9:1-6 & 2 Sam 10:1-6 and discuss: What was the result of false accusations made against David and his men? When was the last time you accused someone - even in your heart - of a sinful motive? What New Testament Scriptures can guide us when it comes to thinking about the motives of others?

Day 2: Read Luke 9:1-6 and discuss: Why were David’s servants mistreated? What - in particular - was so bad about what was done to them?

Day 3: Read Luke 9:1-6 and discuss: Where did the practice of ‘shaking the dust off of your feet’ come from? What was the significance? What should our response be when people reject the gospel?
