Family Worship Guide
Day 1: Read Matthew 25:14-30 and discuss: Regarding “I will set you over much”, what is revealed about the Master’s (God’s) character? Consider your current thoughts about God. Do you view him as one who is gracious and good and loves to lavish his children with gifts? Or do you view him as a miserly old Scrooge?
Day 2: Read Matthew 25:14-30 and discuss: How do we please God according to this parable? (HINT: look at his response as he received the return from each of his faithful servants). Regarding your roles and responsibilities tomorrow, how can you please God? What two or three concrete actions can you take to be “faithful” tomorrow?
Day 3: Read Matthew 25:14-30 and discuss: Typically, we think people are wicked for what they do. What about in this parable - who was “wicked” here and why was he called “wicked”?
