Memory Verses: Ps. 37:5-8

Day 1: Read Romans 11 & discuss: How did the Jews feel once the Gentiles started coming to Christ? Was this God’s purpose or was it unexpected? When will the Jews come to faith in Christ (hint: look at v. 25) What does it mean: “partial” hardening? Why does it matter?

Day 2: Read Romans 11 & discuss: Is God done with Israel? How would you use Romans 11 to defend your answer? What does “all Israel will be saved” mean? What does it not mean? Read Matt. 23:37-39 & discuss: What will happen at Jesus’ Second Coming? What takes place immediately before Christ’s Second Coming? Why is this important?

Day 3: Read Lev. 23:26-32 & discuss: What was the purpose of the “Day of Atonement” for the Jews (in the Old Testament)? What did the “Day of Atonement” actually accomplish? What did it not accomplish? What people group is the focus during the tribulation? Will believers experience God’s wrath? Why or why not?
