Family Worship Guide
Memory Verses: James 4:13-14
Day 1: Read Luke 10:17-20 & Isaiah 14:9-17 and discuss: Consider your own life. When was the last time you acted sinfully prideful after a victory - or were at least tempted to? How would you explain the sin of pride to a child? How would you help them understand how all pride is not necessarily sinful?
Day 2: Read Luke 10:17-20 & Isaiah 14:9-17 and discuss: What desires prompted Lucifer’s fall from heaven? What were the results of his desires? Examine yourself prayerfully. What are your desires? If they are godly desires, are you currently experiencing any temptations to fulfill your godly desires in a sinful manner?
Day 3: Read Luke 10:17-20 and discuss: In what particular way do we -today- have victory over the “spiritual serpent”? What should we rejoice in even more? What specific sin should our salvation put to death?
