Four practical suggestions to help WCC grow in outreach:
- Pray for WCC to grow in this area.
- Pray for wisdom for the elders to be sensitive to God’s leading.
- Pray about who God would have you invite to church.
- Find ways for your home fellowship to focus on outreach.
Family Worship Guide
Day 1: Read 1 Cor. 4:1-2 and discuss: Upon what basis is the gospel one of our most important stewardships? What difference should this make in your daily life? Are you a faithful steward? If not, who could you ask for help? Who can train you up to be a faithful steward of the gospel?
Day 2: Read Matthew 25:14-30 and discuss: Why do we give gifts? Why does God? (See also 1 Peter 4:10) What are two ways the Lord “evens out” the distribution of talents?
Day 3: Read Matthew 25:14-30 and discuss: What small detail related to timing does Matthew present in verse 16? What is the significance of this detail? Evaluate yourself, prayerfully: how do you establish priorities? What factors come into play as you make your decisions? About which things do you procrastinate?
