Luke 9:27—The “Why” of the Transfiguration

Day 2: Read Luke 9:23-27 & discuss: Why did the Transfiguration happen? What were some of the references given elsewhere in the New Testament referring back to the Transfiguration?

Day 3: Read Luke 9:23-27 & discuss: What sort of signs did Old Testament prophets perform in order to confirm the sure (eventual) fulfillment of their prophecies? How are these instances related to what Jesus did and why he did it?
