Family Worship Guide

Memory Verses: John 14:2-3

Day 1: Read Luke 7:28-35 and discuss: What does “justified” mean in general? What is the significance of its use in the two times it appears in this passage? How can this apply to the various circumstances in your life?

Day 2: Read Luke 5:27-29 and Luke 19:8 and discuss: What were the results or “children” of Jesus’ interactions with these two people? How have you been changed as a result of Jesus’ intervention in your life? (This could be certain habits that have changed…or the way you make decisions could have changed, etc.) Have you been changed by Jesus? If not, why not?

Day 3: Read 1 Cor. 8:1 & 13:2 and discuss: What is the danger concerning knowledge? In what way could knowledge be bad or dangerous? What is more important than knowledge? Is knowledge unimportant? Why? Why not? In what specific relationships do you need to work more on love than on expressing your knowledge?
